VI) WHAT ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN’S FAITH?

VII) WHAT ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN’S GRACE?

VIII) WHAT IS THE CHRISTIAN TO DO?  CENTER HIS LIFE ON JESUS

IX) WHAT ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN’S SIN? CONFESS & STUDY SCRIPTURE

I) GOD WILL RECEIVES ALL THE GLORY:

1 Corinthians 1:29   God receives all glory

1 Corinthians 1:31  God has done it all for mankind so let’s glorify in Him alone (2 Corinthians 10:17)

Philippians 2:10-11  Jesus will be worshipped by every created being that ever existed which will glorify the Father

II) BY NATURE MAN IS SINFUL – GOD FORESEE’S NO GOODNESS IN MAN TO REWARD – MAN DESERVES ONLY HELL AS PUNISHMENT:

Mankind has no righteousness from birth to death for believers and unbelievers.

These scriptures show man is only evil and can not do good.

Man is born a sinner and then will sin as his natural self and his evil will does. How can evil do not good? How can an omniscient God look down the ages to see some one who will believe except He intervene with changing the person by His grace?

Psalms 14:1-3  Sin & do no good

Ecclesiastes 7:20  No man is just and does good while sins not.

Isaiah 53:6  Mankind is evil and selfish

Isaiah 64:6-8  Any good in man is compared to mankind’s filth as we are all unclean.

Romans 3:10-18  No one seeks God, but they go after their own righteousness without any good

Romans 7:18  No good

Ephesians 2:2-3   Mankind is by nature sons of wrath with flesh lusts

The men who can not follow God are doing their natural evil, self-centered, and fleshly acts which is because of their being born with sin and are sinners. They can not do good because the scriptures show they are evil.

The order to follow God is you can hear God's words and believe on Jesus. This applies to making a choice for good for God or having faith which is from God to man just as grace is from God to man.

Scriptures show man's total depravity. Grace is one way from God towards man. We can only receive the gift when God send it.

III) FOUR TYPES OF PEOPLE THAT LOOK LIKE CHRISTIANS:

Sowing of the seed parable in Matthew 13:18-23, Mark 4:3-20, and Luke 8:5-15

Jesus is sower and the seed is the Word of Kingdom of God

Wayside->Understand not->Devil takes the Word away->

Rocks->Receives Word with joy->Believes for while->No roots->Persecution->Offended

Thorns->Cares of world/riches->Choke the Word->

Good ground->Hears Word->Understands->Bear fruit->100/60/30 fold

If the person is a Christian, then he will love God & man.  Faith works will follow. If they do not show these signs, it proves that they are not of the elect Christians.

IV) GOD SAVED THE CHRISTIAN BEFORE THE EARTH EXISTS:

Matthew 25:34   God predestinated these to be in His kingdom before the foundation of the world

Romans 9:11-13  God elected before birth-Malachi 1:2

Ephesians 1:4-5  Chosen before the world’s foundation & predestinated by God

Romans 8:28-31  Foreknow->Predestinate->To Jesus image->Called->Justified->Glorified

V) WHAT ABOUT THE WORKS OF THE CHRISTIAN?:

Ephesians 2:10  God ordains our works

2 Timothy 3:17  God makes you perfect (mature) with having many good works

Hebrews 13:21  God makes you perfect (mature) in ever good work to do his will

VI) WHAT ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN’S FAITH?:

The gospel of Christ is salvation to those that have faith, from God, to believe that Jesus righteousness is imputed to the Christian, and the Christian’s sins are imputed to Christ. The Christian never has any righteousness of his own. The Christian is saved by God’s grace (God’s unmerited flavor to man) with no input from man.

Romans 12:3, 6  God is the source of the Christian’s faith

Galatians 2:20  The Christian’s life is lived by Jesus faith

2 Thessalonians 3:2  God does not give faith to the wicked

VII) WHAT ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN’S GRACE?:

Ephesians 2:8-9 Just receive God’s grace or unmerited flavor to you. The non-believer receives just God’s loving kindness.

VIII) WHAT IS THE CHRISTIAN TO DO? CENTER HIS LIFE ON JESUS:

John 15:4-5  In Jesus->Much fruit->Without Jesus->Can do nothing

Matthew 6:31-33  Seek Jesus first (only).  Focus on Jesus to know Him.

IX) WHAT ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN’S SIN? CONFESS & STUDY SCRIPTURE:

Jesus died on the cross 2,000 years ago for the Christian’s sins. Every sin the Christian commits today has already been paid for by Christ’s once and for all punishment.

Concentration on learning about and allowing Jesus to change you (God centered) not on oneself on how to stop sinning and trying to live the Christian life (self centered). When you sin’s just humble yourself before God asking for forgives & go on focusing on Jesus.

John 17:16-17  The Christian is set apart for God’s purpose

1 John 1:9  Man confesses sin->God forgives sin & cleanses us

HOW TO BE SAVED:

Man deserves death and punishment, separation from God, for sin. God's love and grace has saved some and all other's will be lost.

Those that are the saved, will repent (change) of their sins and will call upon the Lord. They will pray to Jesus something like this: Father, I know I am a sinner. I asked for your forgiveness and help me to repent. Come in to my life and be my Lord. Help me to speak to others about your paying for my sins on the cross. In Jesus name I ask this. Amen.

If you prayed that pray and trusting in the promises of God's word, the Bible, you are one of the called, elected, and chosen.
