This paper discusses the Overcomers. This is an overview of the Bible's teaching on God's relationship to His Elected people. The Overcomer will conquer, prevail, and get the victory over Satan for God’s power is in them. They will rule with Jesus in the millennium for 1,000 years after the Tribulation period with multiple raptures. Most of the Overcomers scriptures are connected with the End Times seven Churches of Revelation chapters 2 and 3 which are discussed in this paper. All scriptures are from the King James' version Bible.

INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:

THEME: The Overcomer will conquer, prevail, and get the victory over Satan for God’s power is in them. They will be Pre-Tribulation raptured. They will rule with Jesus in the Millennium for 1,000 years after the Tribulation period.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. {8} And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:" HE is taken out to start End Times. Anti-christ comes in. The Overcomers: Man-Child - the "He" is taken out or raptured which starts the End Times Events? The Church is referred to as the body of Christ (or bride) who can be male.

Revelation 12:5 "And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne." Jesus (is not the Man-Child). Overcomer's fulfill this, but Jesus did not come out of church as he came by Jewish parents, Mary and Holy Spirit then Joseph.

Revelation 19:13-15 "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. {14} And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. {15} And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness & wrath of Almighty God." Overcomer's (who are Pre-Tribulation raptured return with Jesus) rules with iron rod.

PURPOSE: Overview of the Bible's teaching on God's relationship to His Elected people the Overcomer.

KEY VERSE:

1 John 5:4-5 "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. {5} Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?"

TO WHOM: Elected Christians

WHAT:The Overcomer is above and beyond the normal John 3:16 Christian shown by his testimony, victory over Satan, and on fire response to God's word. He wants to live the word of God and studies it to understand everything God has for him. God’s rewards the Overcomer by allowing him to rule with Jesus on His earthly throne for 1,000 years in the Millennium. God made him His son, He will be his God, have his name in the book of life, and inherit all things including heaven.

1 John 2:13-17 "I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. {14} I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. {15} Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. {16} For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. {17} And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." The Overcomer abides in the word of God, loves not the world or lust thereof, and lives to do the will of God.

WHY: The Elected Overcomer Christian is protected, not appointed to wrath, & raptured from End Times wrath. The End Times people wiill rule with a rod of iron scripture applies to Jesus and the Overcomers. The Man-Child is fulfilled by the Overcomers who are caught up to God and His throne & rule together.

Matthew 19:28 "And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." The Overcomer will rule with Jesus during the Millennium and be judge over people and angels.

Revelation 2:26-27 "And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: {27} And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father." Overcomers will rule with Jesus during Millennium..

Revelation 3:21 "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne."

WAY: The Overcomer will conquer, prevail, and get the victory over Satan for God’s power is in them. They will be Pre-Tribulated raptured and come back with Jesus in His second coming. They will rule with Jesus in the millennium for 1,000 years after the Tribulation period.

1 John 5:4-8 "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. {5} They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them." The Overcomer has God's Holy Spirit within him to overcome satan's, antichrist, and his own flesh desires.

WHEREAS: Most of the Overcomers scriptures are connected with the End Times seven Churches of Revelation chapters 2 and 3. These Churches are in every age with the same type of problems. In my chart I speculate what type and age period the Churches could represent.

OVERCOMERS:

1) Ephesus: Revelation 2:7 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God."

2) Smyrna: Revelation 2:11 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death."

3) Pergamos: Revelation 2:17 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it."

4) Thyatira: Revelation 2:26-28 "And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: {27} And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. {28} And I will give him the morning star."

5) Sardis: Revelation 3:5 "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."

6) Philadelphia: Revelation 3:12-14 "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

7) Laodiceans: Revelation 3:21 "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne."

WHERE: Earth and heaven

WHEN: All ages

WAIT: Overcomers are in heaven with Jesus and will be coming back with Him for His second coming. They will rule with Jesus for Millennium 1,000 years on His earthly throne.

There are several Raptures shown in scriptures. Only the Overcomer, not every John 3:16 Christian, will be included in the Pre-Tribulation rapture before the Tribulation and Great Tribulation period in Daniel's 9:27 Seven years End Times Events - Days of the Lord.

B) REVELATION CHAPTER 12 THREE GROUPS OF BELIEVERS RAPTURES:

The Prophet John wrote Revelation about 90-96 AD. This paper addresses multiple raptures. From the Revelation 12 viewpoint, this starts with these three believers groups: Man-Child (Elected Overcomers on fire Christians), Woman (John 3:16 Church), & Remnant of the Woman's Seed (Tribulation and Great Tribulation Jewish and Gentiles Believers).

The Man-Child is the Elect Overcomer Christians who are living in the deeper things of God. God rewards them by caughting (rapture) them up unto God and His throne. The Overcomers of the Churches will rule 1,000 years with Christ (with a rod of iron) when Jesus is on His Jerusalem New Temple, earthly throne. In no other scripture period of time do we see the Revelation Chapter 2-3 Overcomers scripture promises fulfilled.

The Woman does not match Israel scripture (Genesis 37:9) wording or type. I assumed the Woman to be the Church with a John 3:16 salvation message only. She has not gone into any of the deeper things of God. During the Tribulation she is cared for by God, but goes through half the End Times period before being Mid-Tribulation raptured.

The remnant of the Woman's Seed goes through much of the End Times Events and are the Jewish & Gentile Tribulation Christians being saved through the ministry efforts of the two witnesses and 144,000 Jewish believers.

SCRIPTURES FULFILLED:

Genesis 37:9 "And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me." Does not compare with Revelation 12:1 - A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.

OVERCOMERS:

The remnant of the Woman's Seed goes through much of the End Times Events and is the Jewish & Gentile Tribulation Christians.

Revelation 7:14-17 "And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. {15} Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. {16} They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. {17} For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." The remnant of the Woman's Seed in Great Tribulation.

Revelation 12:1-3, 5-6, 11, 13-17 "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: {2} And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. {3} And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. {5} And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. {6} And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. {11} And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. {13} And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. {14} And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. {15} And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. {16} And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. {17} And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

C) PRE-TRIBULATION: HE (ON FIRE CHRISTIANS) = OVERCOMERS = MAN-CHILD

The Man-Child can't be Jesus since this is in a future period after 90AD when John wrote Revelation. Jesus lived on earth to about 33AD.

The End Times people who rule with a rod of iron scripture applies to Jesus and the Overcomers. The Man-Child is fulfilled by the Overcomers who are caught up to God and His throne & rule together.

1 Corinthians 12:3 "Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost." The Holy Spirit can not be the HE since if He is removed no one can call Jesus Lord. This is a clear Pre-Tribulaion-rapture scripture of the He (group) to be taken out of the way not being the Holy Spirit. He can not be the Holy Spirit or no one could be saved after He is removed.

Ephesians 1:22-23 "And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, {23} Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all." The Church is referred to as a male (although she is also the bride of Christ) and can be the He.

Isaiah 57:1 "The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth <it> to heart: and merciful men <are> taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil <to come>."

Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." Why pray this if no pre-tribulation rapture/protection possible?

1 Thessalonians 5:9 "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,"

Revelation 3:10 "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."

b) MAN-CHILD:

The Man-Child can't be Jesus since this is in a future period after 90AD when John wrote Revelation. Jesus lived on earth to about 33AD.

The End Times people who rule with a rod of iron scripture applies to Jesus and the Overcomers. The Man-Child is fulfilled by the Overcomers who are caught up to God and His throne & rule together.

SCRIPTURES FULFILLED:

Isaiah 66:7-8 "Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. {8} Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children."

Revelation 2:25-27 "But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. {26} And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: {27} And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father."Man-Child is fulfilled by the Overcomers who come back to rule with Jesus.

Revelation 12:5-6 "And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.{6} And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days." Jesus (is not the Man- Child). Overcomer's fulfill this, but Jesus did not come out of church as he came by Jewish parents, Mary and Holy Spirit then Joseph.

c) PRE-TRIBULATION-CHRISTIANS WILL RETURN & RULE WITH JESUS:

Overcomer Christians caught up from going through the Tribulation period. They will return later with Christ to rule with Him for the 1,000 years.

SCRIPTURES FULFILLED: See Overcomer in: 1 John 5:4, Revelation: 2:7, 2:17, 3:5, 3:12, 21:7

Revelation 3:21 "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." The Overcomers' will rule with Jesus.

Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." Their life is centered on Jesus.

Revelation 19:13-15 "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. {14} And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. {15} And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness & wrath of Almighty God." Overcomer's (who are Pre-Tribulation raptured and return with Jesus) rules with iron rod.

D) MID-TRIBULATION: Woman – John 3:16 Church goes through 1260 days of Tribulation. The Church delievered the Elected on fire Man-child who is Pre-Tribulation raptured. This group is protected and supplied by God for 1260 days even from attacks by Satan before she is raptured.

a) WOMAN = JOHN 3:16 CHURCH: Goes through the 1st half of tribulation seven years end times.

PERSON/GROUP: SCRIPTURES FULFILLED:

Revelation 12:1, 6, 13 "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: {6} And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. {13} And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child."

2) END TIMES SEVEN CHURCHES:

The End Times seven Churches are present in every generation and are types of the Churches with similar problems and solutions God deals with in those periods. I show a type comparison to different periods of time to a major events during that time period. Their are Overcomers in each generation as God's interface to the people of that time period.

Genesis 3:22-23 "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: {23} Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken."

Proverbs 3:18 "She <is> a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy <is every one> that retaineth her." Her = wisdom.

Revelation 22:14 "Blessed <are> they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." Tree of life located in heaven.

Midst of the paradise of God: Paradise could be Abraham's bosom where departed saints went prior to the resurrection of Jesus.
