{Micah 2:12} "I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men."

Days of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah: Three kings of Judah served one after each another. Hezekiah was the most religious reformed of the period. He could not correct the hearts of the people.

(6) I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness. {Micah 7:9}

(7) Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. {Micah 7:18}

(8) He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. {Micah 7:19}

Prophet would meet the following:

- Spoke only in the name of the Lord (Yahweh).

- God had a special calling for him to by a prophet.

- His life matches his position. He did not practice divination.

- Do not assume signs and wonders prove his position.

- His God given prophecies came to pass.

Deuteronomy 13:1-3 "If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, {2} And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; {3} Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul."

2 Thessalonians 2:9 "<Even him>, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,"

- His message was in harmony with previous revelation. History will confirms his authenticity.

Deuteronomy 18:21-22 "And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? {22} When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that <is> the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, <but> the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him."

- Moral quality and spiritual essence of the message.

- Inner witness to the Holy Spirit believer.

- Test the prophets revelation against what the Bible states.

1 Corinthians 14:29 "Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge."

Holy Scriptures:

God's word is above that of His name:

Psalms 138:2 "I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name." God's words is most important.

Word of God is Jesus (God's name) who is in every Scriptures:

Isaiah 55:11 "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." The Bible, scriptures, are God's words.

Psalms 40:7 "Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book <it is> written of me," (fulfilled see Hebrews 10:7) The Bible is centered on Jesus (God) before & after He is manifested in flesh.

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jesus is God & the Word of God.

(6) Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek. {Micah 5:1}

(7) That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up. {Micah 7:3}

(8) I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness. {Micah 7:9}
