This paper discusses the book of Hebrews. Hebrews' was written to the spiritual weak Hebrew Christians. The book could be called the book of better things, 13 times, to help His children growth, mature, & perfect their faith. The book also has a chapter referred to as the faith chapter (Hebrews 11:1-40). The book of Hebrews encourages the believer to hold fast to his faith & go on in his faith. The author is unknown but attributed to either Paul or Apollos. All scriptures are from the King James' version Bible.

Hebrews 1:1-4 "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, {2} Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; {3} Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; {4} Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."

PROPHET: Hebrews 1:1-2 God spake until the fathers by the prophets. In last days God spoke unto us by his Son.

Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (This implies that the author may be a second generation disciples. This could also be Paul who received direct revelation from God and also was taught by the disciples and other second generation disciples.)

Acts 18:24-28 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. {25} This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. {26} And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. {27} And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace: {28} For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ. (Martin Luther believed Apollos authored Hebrews for his strong use of the Old Testament.)

Hebrews 13:22-23 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
{23} Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you. (This wording could imply Paul is the author of Hebrews.)

Paul or Apollos: Paul was an apostle of Jesus sent to ministered to the Gentiles. This mayt be an epistle of Paul's who wrote 14 epistles of the 26 New Testament Bible books. Paul was sent to a Roman prison at his life's end where is was martyred for his faith, Apollos, who Martin Luther thorough may have been author of the Hebrew epistle, was mighty in the Old Testament scriptures. Luther had Apollos as author to Hebrews since it was written to Hebrew Christians and has many quotes from those scriptures.
